You have to register your version of Avid Liquid 7 to receive the free activation key to unlock the software. If you don't enter this activation key, the software will remain in demo mode and will expire after 30 days.
You should receive this activation key after registering the software. If you have any problems getting this activation key, please go to http://www.avid.com/activate .
You will have to enter the following information:
- the Avid Liquid 7 Passport (this information is available from the Help menu of Liquid)
- the Avid Liquid 7 Serial Number
- Your first and last name
- Your email address.
Click on Submit to send the information.
After clicking Submit, you will see the Instant Activation page. Check Liquid Edition 7 Activation and validate your basket. A new activation key will be displayed on the screen and will also be sent to you by email. Write down this activation key before exiting the page.
How to enter the activation to unlock Avid Liquid 7.
The activation key should automatically be added to your system during the registration process. If you manually got the key (see the process above), you will have to manually enter the key:
- Click on Start/Programs and select HollywoodFX for Liquid
- Start EasyFX Editor
- Enter the activation key from the Help menu. Validate and close EasyFX Editor
- Launch Liquid 7.
You are reinstalling Liquid 7 and your activation key is no more valid
The activation key is based on the system passport. If you are reinstalling the software on a different system or if you reformatted your hard drive, the passport will probably be different. You will only need to regenerate the activation key with your new passport. This action is free.
