When I reboot my HP XW8600 station, after HP blue screen, the system stays blocked at the first bios messages page.
If I'm doing a cold start (shutdown, then start), then I have no problem.
I only have a HIB DX card in my PC.
You probably played with your BIOS, and changed your Storage option configuration.

In order to boot properly, please set your Bios as follows :
Hit F10 at startup to go in the Bios HP setup Utility.
> Storage
> Storage Option
the Sata Emulation as to be set on "RAID + AHCI" (and absolutely not on Separated IDE)
This will solve the Reboot problem.
