How do you display QuickTime Timecode?
Media Composer 3.5, NewsCutter 7.5 and Symphony 3.5 supports
embedded timecode when exporting a QuickTime movie.
- Hover your mouse over the timecode field you will notice
that two opposite facing up and down arrows appear in the
right hand side of the timecode window.
- If you then click on the window a contextual menu will open
giving you three options.
- Standard
- Timecode (depending on your source media you
exported out of the Avid you might see Timecode Drop Frame or Non-Drop
Frame.)
- Frame Number
By selecting Timecode from the list you
will now notice that the display field shows your actaul
source media timecode that was exported from your sequence.
