Is there a demo version available?
- Yes. We have provided a fully-functioning 30-day trial of Sibelius 7 for you to download here. Please note that it does not include the Sibelius 7 Sounds library, since they are too large to provide as a download for the trial version.

I own an older copy of Sibelius, am I eligible for an upgrade?

- To simplify matters, we no longer offer separate educational and professional upgrades; all existing users of Sibelius 1 to 6 can buy this upgrade to Sibelius 7. Educational discounts are still available for new copies of Sibelius.

Upgrading your copy of Sibelius
- With every upgrade, you are provided with an activation code (starting with the characters S7U). You use this to apply your upgrade to your existing license.

- If you cannot find your activation code, or you experience an error during the activation process, please contact our Registration support team.
Where can I download my products?

How to verify your Crossgrade or Academic copy of Sibelius
- For Sibelius Competitive Crossgrade Verification, you need to provide proof of qualification via the form provided at www.sibelius.com/verify.
- For academic licences, you must provide proof of your academic status at www.identit-e.com/avid.

- If you're new to Sibelius 7, we recommend clicking the Learn tab from within the Quick Start. It has links to:
- Sibelius 7 is the first version to use a ribbon menu. To help you get to grips with it, please see this article. Tip: In Sibelius 7, type the name of the feature you're looking for in the search box in the upper right corner. You can even type in hairpin or crescendo and it'll find the line for you!

- Printed copies of the Sibelius Reference are available to purchase here
- Sibelius is updated from time to time. To make sure you are on the latest version, for Sibelius 7 go to File > Help > Check for Updates. For previous versions of Sibelius, go to Help, Check for Updates. All upgrades and updates can be found at www.sibelius.com/upgrades

- When you first register or upgrade Sibelius, you are given a complimentary Avid Support Code which entitles you to 90-days of telephone and online case support. You can find the telephone numbers and forms to contact us using your ASC, here.
- If you are outside of your complimentary support period, you can purchase additional support. We provide support on either a case-by-case basis, or an annual support contract:
- If you aren't able to start Sibelius at all, you can contact our support team here and choose the option for Registration Support. You will not require an Avid Support Code in the event that Sibelius does not run at all on your computer.
